Dayton Mass Shooting

On the morning of August 4th 2019 there was a mass shooting in the historic Oregon District of Dayton Ohio were we lost nine lives. This marked the 250th mass shooting in America, just 13 hours after another shooting in El Paso TX. The photographs shown below were taken at the vigil the night after, the very difficult week that followed, along with the one year anniversary vigil. Still hurting from the night before, I felt it was my duty as a photographer to capture this event so people won’t forget what happen to the city I live in. ..
